Dr. Srikanth Muralikrishnan is a distinguished medical professional whose lifelong commitment to patient care and research excellence has shaped his vision for accessible cancer care.
Graduating from Government Medical College, Chennai, in 1990 on a scholarship merit basis, Dr. Srikanth began his medical career serving in government institutions, gaining extensive clinical experience and compassion for community healthcare.
His passion for advanced medical sciences led him to the United Kingdom, where he pursued specialized training in Haematology. During his tenure abroad, he was profoundly influenced by the field of Haemato-Oncology, particularly the transformative impact of cancer care on patients and families. Motivated by this, he undertook extensive training and cancer research, focusing on developing innovative treatments for Multiple Myeloma.
Dr. Srikanth has been an active contributor to international scientific knowledge, co-authoring several research publications and journal articles in collaboration with leading institutions such as[ ]Hospital and Cancer Research UK.
After years of experience overseas, he returned to India with a clear vision to strengthen and expand cancer care services. Through his journey, he recognized the multi-dimensional challenges faced by cancer patients — not only the financial strain of long-term treatment and diagnostics but also the emotional and psychological burdens accompanying the disease.
With this deep understanding, Dr. Srikanth established a non-charitable trust dedicated to supporting cancer patients throughout their healing journey. The trust embodies his mission to make comprehensive, compassionate, and affordable cancer care accessible to all — empowering patients and families with medical, emotional, and psychological support.
